Beef Stew  




2 packages cubed beef

1/4 cup cooking oil

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

4 cups beef stock

6 carrots, sliced

4 peeled & diced potatoes, medium

2 tablespoons Beazell's Cajun Seasoning



Heat cooking oil in Dutch oven. Lightly sprinkle Beazell’s Cajun Seasoning on the stew meat. Add meat to Dutch oven and brown on all sides. Add flour and let it soak up the oil and coat each piece of stew meat. Add beef stock and Beazell’s Cajun Seasoning, stir well and partially cover; simmer for about 2 hours while stirring occasionally. Do not allow to boil. You can add water while cooking if it gets too thick.

When meat is cooked and tender, add vegetables and simmer for 30 – 45 minutes until all is tender. Add more Beazell’s Cajun Seasoning for your taste. When gravy has thickened, serve over rice.
