Quick Shrimp with Bacon and Cheesy Grits  




4 slices bacon, cut into small pieces

1 pound shrimp

2 teaspoons Beazell's Cajun Seasoning

2 tablespoon unsalted butter

1 green onion, chopped

Quick cooking grits


1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese



Fry bacon until crispy.  Add to that the shrimp, Beazell’s, unsalted butter and half of the green onions and sauté until the shrimp are just cooked through.  Remove from the heat and cover.

Prepare the grits for six servings according to package directions, using buttermilk instead of water or other cooking liquid.  Combine the cooked grits with the cheese.

Serve the shrimp and bacon mixture over the grits and garnish with the remaining green onions.
