Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork  




4 pounds boneless pork shoulder

1 tablespoon kosher salt

2 - 3 tablespoons Beazell's Cajun Seasoning, or to taste

2 garlic cloves, crushed

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

1/2 cup water



Cut all excess fat from the pork. Sprinkle the salt over the pork shoulder. Place in a slow-cooker with Beazell’s Cajun Seasoning, garlic, cumin, apple cider vinegar and water. Cook on low heat for 7 hours. Pork should shred easily and be very tender.

If you want to make a PULLED PORK BBQ SANDWICH: Let your juice cool from the slow cooker. Strain off the fat. Add 1 cup of the pork juices to 1/3 cup BBQ sauce and a few sprinkles of Louisiana Hot Sauce. Add a sprinkle of Beazell’s Cajun Seasoning to taste. Pour BBQ mixture over your shredded pork. Serve over warmed hamburger buns!
