Fork Tender Pork Chops with Onion Gravy  




5 center cut loin pork chops

Vegetable oil

Beazell's Cajun Seasoning, to taste

1 (14-ounce) can French onion soup

1 (14-ounce) can low sodium beef broth

1/2 medium onion, sliced thin



Generously season the pork chops on both sides with Beazell's Cajun Seasoning. In a Dutch oven, heat about one or two tablespoons of oil. Sear the pork chops until browned on all sides and remove to a plate.

In the same oil, cook down the onion until just translucent. Add to the pot the soup and beef broth then return the pork chops to the pan. Cook over medium heat covered for about 1 hour or longer depending on the thickness of the chops. If needed, a little water can be added to the pot to assure that there will be enough gravy. Taste the gravy and add additional Beazell's Cajun Seasoning to taste.

Excellent when served with parmesan and garlic mashed potatoes and a veggie such as buttered carrots.
