Cajun/Creole Cush Cush  




2 cups corn meal

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon Beazell's Cajun Seasoning

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 1/2 cups milk or water

1/2 cup oil



In a bowl - mix corn meal, salt, Beazell's, baking powder and milk or water. Add this mixture to hot oil in a skillet over high heat. Let a crust form and then give this mixture a stir and reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.

Excellent when served with milk and sugar. Also good when served with syrup such as Steen's or maple syrup alongside some crispy Beazell's bacon.
