Shrimp or Crawfish Balls or Fritters

Shrimp or Crawfish Balls or Fritters  




2 pounds cooked crawfish tails or shrimp, or a combination of both, rough chopped

1 cup celery, chopped

1 cup bell pepper, chopped

3/4 cup green onion, chopped green and white parts of the onion

1/2 cup chopped parsley

1 egg, beaten

1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature soft

Dash of hot sauce

1 1/2 tablespoons Beazell's Cajun Seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Bread crumbs



Combine all of the ingredients except the bread crumbs. Form into either balls or flat patties for fritters. Coat these well with the bread crumbs and place on large baking sheets lined with parchment. Bake in the oven set at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, until browned.
