Bacon Hash Brown Casserole

Bacon Hash Brown Casserole  




6 cups frozen hash browns

1 pound crispy cooked bacon, crumbled

1/2 small onion, diced

1 tablespoon Beazell's Cajun Seasoning

1 cup heavy whipping cream

2 eggs, beaten

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

3 green onions, chopped



Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a greased casserole dish, add half the hash browns to the dish. Then add the onions, bacon and finish by adding the remaining hash browns.

In a mixing bowl, combine the Beazell's, whipping cream and eggs. Whisk the mixture thoroughly and pour over the hash brown mixture. Top with the shredded cheese. Cover with aluminum foil that has been greased.

Bake covered for 50 minutes. Then remove the aluminum foil and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from the oven once the cheese has browned slightly and allow to sit for 15 minutes prior to serving. Garnish with green onions.
