Crab & Pasta Casserole

Crab and Pasta Casserole  




8 ounces spiral pasta, cooked & drained

1 large onion, chopped

1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced

1/3 cup green pepper, chopped

1/2 cup butter

1 garlic clove, minced

1 pound crabmeat, (if using imitation, chopped)

1/2 cup sour cream

2 teaspoons Beazell's Cajun Seasoning

1 teaspoon basil

1 1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese



In a skillet, sauté onions, mushrooms and green pepper in butter until tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Remove from the heat. Add pasta to vegetable mixture. Stir in the crab, sour cream, Beazell's Cajun Seasoning and basil.

Grease a large baking dish and pour casserole in it. Sprinkle the top with cheese. Cover and bake the casserole at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake 5 minutes longer. Allow to cool about 5 minutes or so before cutting.
