Homemade Vanilla Ice-Cream  




3 cups sugar

6 eggs

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 2 teaspoon vanilla

2 quarts half and half

1 pint cream

2 cups milk

6 teaspoons lemon juice



Separate eggs and beat whites until foamy. Then beat in beaten yolks. Add sugar, salt, vanilla and lemon juice. Mix in half and half and cream. Pour in freezer and finish filling with milk. Can should be around 2/3 full.

Put your can in your ice cream maker. Follow the directions for your maker and kick back while it makes the most delicious ice cream ever!
