Cajun Fried Gator

Beazell's Cajun Fried Gator  




1 pound alligator meat

1/2 cup buttermilk

Dash of hot sauce

2 tablespoons Beazell's Cajun Seasoning

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup corn meal

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

2 tablespoons Beazell's Cajun Seasoning



Cut alligator meat into 1-2 inch pieces and soak in the buttermilk mixed with hot sauce and 2 tablespoons of Beazell's. Refrigerate, covered, at least one hour or overnight.

Batter one piece of meat at a time in your flour, corn meal and baking powder mixture seasoned with additional 2 tablespoons of Beazell's; fry till golden brown on each side. Salt to taste after frying!
