Baked Catfish Filets

Baked Catfish Filets  

 

Ingredients

 

2 (6 ounce) catfish filets

2 teaspoons lemon juice

3 tablespoons yellow cornmeal

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

2-3 teaspoons Lemon Beazell's Cajun Seasoning

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

Non-Stick cooking spray or butter

 

Directions

Sprinkle the lemon juice all over the catfish filets. In a large Zip-Lock plastic bag, combine the cornmeal, flour, Beazell's Cajun Seasoning, thyme and basil. Add catfish and shake to coat.

Place on a baking sheet coated with non-stick cooking spray or butter. (Line your baking sheet with aluminum foil first, if desired.) Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
