Cajun Turkey Injection Marinade

Cajun Turkey Injection Marinade 




1 cup lemon juice

1/4 cup liquid crab boil

1/2 cup olive oil

1 cup melted butter

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Tabasco

1 can (14.5 oz.) low sodium chicken broth

1 cup white wine or your favorite beer (optional)

3 tablespoons Beazell's Cajun Seasoning

2 tablespoons onion powder

2 tablespoons garlic powder

1 tablespoon poultry seasoning



Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a simmer.  Marinade should be warm to inject so as to prevent the butter from coagulating and clogging the injector.  Ideally it is best to inject the turkey 24 hours before you intend to roast or fry it to allow the marinade to tenderize and flavor the turkey optimally.
